East Lindsay PCN and our member practices have previously supported the UK's biggest blood pressure testing and awareness event by teaming up with Nursing and Residential Homes in the area to provide all their staff with the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked and discuss any health and wellbeing opportunities. We also took along a small portable device which uses the fingertips to screen for potential Atrial Fibrillation which is another risk factor for stroke.

Thank you to all of our wonderful staff who have worked hard at all of the pop up blood pressure clinics in the area as part of the Bloodpressureuk #KnowYourNumbers campaig

This afternoon we visited Nightingale House Care Centre in Woodhall Spa.
