East Lindsey Primary Care Network is partnering with other organisations to create a Falls Information Cafe at various location around the local area.
The session will include:

-
Trial walking aids and learn about equipment to aid activities of daily living
-
Enjoy some tea/coffee and cake
-
Meet local services and clubs in your area
Let’s work together to reduce the risk of falls, keep active and live well.
Take a look at our last Falls information Cafe
Here are some photographs from our recent Falls Information Cafe held at Stanhope Hall in Horncastle.
It was a great event hosted by East Lindsey Primary Care Network, in partnership with the Neighbourhood Team.
Attendees listened to presentations from the clinical teams on falls risks and advice on how to avoid falls. This was followed by a chance to chat to the clinical team more informally over tea/coffee and cake. We were also joined by local clubs and services who provided information on what was available in the locality.
It was a great day we hope to see you at the next one.
Our falls information cafe at Festival Hall, Caistor Road, Market Rasen on 30th April 2024was a great success!
Attendees left with valuable tips and strategies to stay safe and maintain their balance, particularly in environments prone to slips and trips.
The interactive demonstrations and practical advice, such as proper footwear, clutter-free spaces, and exercises to improve strength and coordination, were particularly well-received. Many participants expressed their gratitude, noting that they felt more confident about avoiding falls in their daily lives. The event highlighted the importance of community education and proactive measures in promoting overall well-being and safety.
Encouraged by the positive feedback, we plan to host more informative sessions on various topics to continue supporting our community's health and safety needs.
